Site Agent x2, Sandton

We are seeking two experienced Site Agents to join our team on a prestigious residential and commercial construction project in Sandton. The successful candidates will be responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities, ensuring that the project is completed within budget and on schedule, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Managing and supervising all on-site construction activities, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and laborers

Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with project specifications, building codes, and quality standards

Monitoring project progress and proactively addressing any delays or issues that may arise

Recording and maintaining accurate project documentation, including daily reports, work schedules, and budget updates

Implementing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all on-site personnel

Conducting regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Communicating effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and consultants

Providing regular progress updates to senior management and offering recommendations for improvement as needed

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Site Agent on residential and commercial construction projects

Qualified with a relevant degree or diploma in construction management, engineering, or a related field

Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from inception to completion

Sound knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction practices

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team of subcontractors and laborers

Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office applications

Valid driver's license and own transport
