Hire Resolve’s client, a prestigious law firm based in Sandton, is seeking a Senior Legal Specialist with expertise in Property Law to join their team. As a Senior Legal Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert legal support and guidance in property-related matters.

Responsibilities

Reviewing and drafting legal documents related to property transactions, such as leases, contracts, agreements, and deeds.

Conducting legal research and analysis on property law issues and providing recommendations to management.

Negotiating and settling property disputes, including boundary disputes, easements, and zoning issues.

Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including real estate professionals, to provide legal guidance on property-related matters.

Monitoring legislative changes and ensuring compliance with property laws and regulations.

Representing the company in legal proceedings related to property law, including court appearances and arbitrations.

Training and mentoring junior legal staff on property law issues and best practices.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in property law, with a focus on commercial and residential real estate transactions.

Strong knowledge of property law principles, including conveyancing, land use, and zoning regulations.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Admitted as an attorney in South Africa.
