Our client is looking for a creative and user-focused

UI/UX Designer

to join our team and help shape intuitive, engaging digital experiences. You’ll be responsible for designing interfaces that communicate our brand effectively and enrich the customer journey across products and services. Key Responsibilities

Design compelling visual artifacts including wireframes, mock-ups, prototypes, and storyboards. Develop and maintain design elements and specifications aligned with the design system. Conduct user research, competitor analysis, and usability testing to inform design decisions. Create user flows, interaction models, and screen designs that optimize user experience.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of designs. Advocate for the end-user throughout the product development lifecycle. Align design solutions with business goals, technical constraints, and UX metrics. Stay updated on UI/UX trends, technologies, and best practices.Ensure consistency in design patterns and principles across platforms. Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines. Share knowledge and contribute to team growth and innovation. Required Skills&Experience

Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision). Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and responsive design. Experience with design systems and component libraries. Ability to conduct and apply user research and usability testing. Excellent communication and presentation skills.Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking. Ability to balance user needs with business objectives and technical feasibility. Experience working in agile or cross-functional teams. 3–5 years

of experience in UI/UX design, product design, or interaction design. Proven experience designing for

web, mobile, and responsive platforms . Experience working in

agile or cross-functional teams . Technical Proficiency

Skilled in design tools such as:

Figma ,

Sketch ,

Adobe XD ,

InVision ,

Axure

Familiarity with:

HTML/CSS

(basic understanding) Design systems

and

component libraries Prototyping tools

and

user testing platforms

Essential Qualifications - NQF Level

Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate Preferred Qualification

Design Certification from an accredited Design School
