Job Description

A leading organisation is seeking a Blaze Domain Specialist to join a fast-paced and growing technology team delivering enterprise-scale decision solutions. Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain Blaze Advisor rule repositories and decision solutions. Develop and test Blaze Advisor rules while supporting enterprise implementations from inception through to go-live. Collaborate with Technical Product Owners, Architects, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Developers to refine requirements and deliver solutions. Expose BRE rules to Java Web Services and support rules engine-based applications on Java platforms. Facilitate stakeholder discussions to obtain approval on technical designs and documented requirements. Configure and implement testing frameworks for rule repositories. Coordinate efforts with offshore development teams and contribute to ongoing support and optimisation initiatives. Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge artefacts for BAU support. Provide sanity checks and enhancements on existing Blaze Advisor implementations while continuously improving technical expertise.

Requirements:

5+ years’ experience in object-oriented development using Java, .Net, or C#. Experience working with rules engine-based applications on Java platforms. Strong understanding of enterprise support environments. Exposure to Git is essential. Experience writing automated tests and familiarity with JUnit is advantageous. Familiarity with Azure is advantageous. Experience with FICO Blaze Advisor version 7.x is advantageous. Banking and compliance industry experience preferred, particularly exposure to regulatory frameworks such as FICA and FATCA. Experience working within an Enterprise Rules Team environment is highly beneficial. Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-moving and demanding environment.
