The business has a strong national footprint and delivers essential, high-volume products and solutions to both corporate and consumer markets, supported by a well-developed operational and distribution network.As part of a larger listed group, the environment requires a finance leader who can uphold robust governance and reporting standards, while maintaining a pragmatic and commercially focused approach. The successful candidate will partner closely with the Chief Executive Officer and Board, contributing to strategic direction and ensuring long term financial sustainability.Key Responsibilities:

Provide executive leadership of the finance function, ensuring overall financial integrity and performance Drive strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting in line with business objectives Oversee all financial reporting, including monthly management accounts, Board reporting, and group submissionsEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain effective governance and control frameworks Deliver clear and actionable financial insights to support executive decision making Manage key stakeholder relationships, including group, auditors, and financial institutions Support strategic initiatives, including potential acquisitions and business growth opportunitiesJob Experience and Skills Required:

CA(SA) qualification is essential Demonstrated experience on a Board level Strong exposure to group reporting and corporate governance frameworks Experience within distribution or manufacturing, or annuity revenue Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance strategic oversight and operational involvementHigh levels of professionalism, self-awareness, and sound judgement Advanced financial modelling and systems proficiency
