Our client, a fast‑growing marketing agency specialising in the health, wellness, and fitness sector, is seeking an experienced Director of Partnerships to lead the development and execution of affiliate and influencer marketing programmes across a portfolio of exciting brands.

Role Title: Director of Partnerships

Hours: Full‑time (EST hours)

Industry: Marketing Agency

Rate: R38,000 - R45,000 per month

This is a senior leadership opportunity for a commercially driven partnerships expert with deep experience in the creator economy and fitness industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping partnership strategy, scaling influencer programmes, and driving measurable performance outcomes for clients.

Responsibilities

Lead and evolve partnership strategies across multiple client accounts, developing integrated influencer and affiliate programmes that drive awareness, engagement, and measurable growth.

Identify, build, and manage relationships with influencers, creators, ambassadors, and strategic brand partners.

Own the full partnership lifecycle, including outreach, negotiation, contracting, activation, and performance reporting.

Oversee the delivery of influencer campaigns and events, ensuring smooth execution across timelines, deliverables, creator coordination, and on‑site management.

Develop strategic collaborations beyond traditional influencer marketing, including sponsorships, ambassador programmes, and co‑branded partnerships.

Manage campaign budgets and negotiate partnership agreements to maximise ROI and long‑term commercial value.

Ensure operational excellence across product seeding, content approvals, reporting, and campaign execution.

Analyse campaign performance and extract actionable insights to inform future strategy and optimisation.

Collaborate closely with social, creative, and strategy teams to ensure partnership activity aligns with wider marketing and business objectives.

Stay ahead of emerging trends within the creator economy, social platforms, and influencer landscape to maintain a culturally relevant and innovative approach.

Requirements

Proven experience leading influencer, affiliate, or partnership marketing strategies within an agency or brand environment.

Commercially minded with excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.

Strong project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.

Data‑driven mindset with experience analysing campaign performance and ROI.

Passion for creator marketing, emerging trends, and digital culture.
