Job Overview Our client in the banking industry is seeking an experienced SAP Planning Developer (BPC&SAC) to design, develop and deploy end‑to‑end planning solutions in SAP Analytics Cloud and BPC environments. This is a 6‑month contract role based in Johannesburg, Gauteng.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate user requirements and advise on design and content of software engineering needed.

Provide effort estimation and sequencing for feature delivery.

Develop and configure features in SAP SAC&BPC Planning following architecture, standards and policies.

Design and develop data integration patterns into SAP SAC&BPC Planning.

Utilise DevOps practices and deliver securely and continuously.

Implement data governance, management and security for data storage and transit.

Perform component integration testing and guide testers.

Assist with system integration testing and plan cut‑over activities.

Deploy software to production and support post‑implementation stability.

Provide technical thought leadership and contribute to the SAP SAC&BPC cloud journey.

Build complex planning models using Analytical Application capabilities.

Requirements

SAP SAC Analytical Cloud Planning Certification.

BPC Certification with at least 5 years development experience.

Understanding of BW is advantageous.

Experience in the financial services industry is preferred.
