Panel Saw operator Assistant (External Applications Only - Ontdekkers CBF) To ensure all customer estimations are cut according to the required timelines, with the specifications and required standards, ensuring minimal losses to the company. Ensure no breakdown of machinery due to negligence. Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 or equivalent NQF 4 qualifications. 2 years carpentry experience would be advantageous. 1 year experience working with cutting and edging machinery would be advantageous. Ability to perform basic calculations accurately. Must be willing to work shifts, weekends, and Public Holidays. Must be able to work under pressure.Key Performance Areas

Customer Service: Provide reliable, prompt customer service; advise customers correctly on product; assist with product queries and timely handling of complaints; be available in area of responsibility. Operational Excellence: Ensure effective employee scheduling planned and implemented to provide exceptional customer service; assist in other departments as required.Work Area&Safety: Ensure area is free of obstacles; stock is merchandised promptly; ensure safe entry/exit; adherence to safety standards and machinery specifications; daily cleaning and preventative maintenance on machinery. Compliance&Documentation: No product loaded without proof of purchase or required documentation; no products cut/edged or drilled without the required order/invoice. Waste Reduction: Minimise wastage and customer complaints through accurate calibration and interpretation of cutting lists. General: Ensure that your area is safe for customers and employees; be aware of suspicious behaviours and report to Management; maintain a safe and organized work environment.Values
