Job Overview We’re assembling a dynamic team of charismatic Business Development Executives to launch the WeMerge initiative – a bold new M&A pipeline for acquiring UK-based businesses. This role is ideal for high-energy professionals with business-savvy communication skills and a flair for relationship-building. As the first line of contact with business owners, your job is to engage potential sellers, open conversations around acquisition, and represent the face of a confident, growth-focused UK enterprise. Think of it as part networker, part negotiator, part charismatic connector. If you're commercially minded, quick on your feet, and the type to win every room– this is your calling.Key Responsibilities Proactively identify and engage with UK-based business owners exploring potential exit or acquisition opportunities. Initiate warm, personable conversations that build trust and curiosity around the WeMerge model. Qualify leads and nurture relationships through consultative discussions, not hard sales tactics.Represent the organisation with polish and confidence during calls, emails, and virtual meetings. Maintain accurate, detailed records of conversations and pipeline activity within the CRM. Work in sync with the internal M&A and leadership team to align outreach with acquisition goals. Contribute to an energetic, performance-driven team culture with measurable KPIs. Qualifications and Experience Degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred. 2+ years’ experience in business development, consultative sales, or M&A outreach. Excellent verbal communication skills with confidence navigating high-level business discussions. Comfortable speaking with senior stakeholders, founders, and company directors. Naturally persuasive, charismatic, and humorous– someone who builds rapport quickly. Familiarity with CRM tools, LinkedIn outreach, and digital sales platforms.Laptop, reliable high-speed internet, and professional home office setup. Seniority level
