Procurement Officer

A large manufacturing company is looking for an organised and energetic Procurement Officer with the following knowledge and experience: Duties&Responsibilities

Process internal requisitions for local orders Placing and receipting of International orders Expediting orders, following up with freight companies and suppliers Sourcing of current and new products Plan and co-ordinate the freight movement and custom clearance of cargo Costing of freight and stockManage communication between suppliers and production management team Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate best pricing Attend daily production meetings with feedback from suppliers or communicate any procurement issues or delays Desired Experience&Qualification

Certificate or Diploma in Procurement Strong PC knowledge and experience Must be able to work in a pressurised environment Good analytical and problem-solving capabilities A detail and action orientated individual Knowledge of Syspro an advantage Experience with import procedures Forecasting experiencePackage&Remuneration

Salary: R12000 to R15000 Gross per month Benefits: Medical aid contribution, provident fund benefit
