Graduate Trainee - Business Analyst, Soweto

Key Responsibilities

Lead discussions with stakeholders to gather, understand, and validate business requirements. Communicate technical and functional solutions clearly to stakeholders. Obtain approval/sign-off on documented workflows and specifications. Identify, analyze, and propose solutions for business problems.Document business processes and functional/technical specifications. Recommend cost-effective technology solutions aligned with business needs. Translate requirements into actionable Jira tickets for the development team. Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and manage issue tracking. Provide 3rd-level technical support and perform root cause analysis for live projects.Ensure technology solutions meet organizational quality standards. Monitor project risks and provide proactive solutions. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and approval processes. Maintain accurate documentation using proper formatting, UK English grammar, and punctuation.>Track time in Jira/Tempo with correct project code allocation. Contribute to a culture of accountability, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline. Completed or pursuing a Business System Analysis course. 1-2 years' experience in a Business Analyst role (preferably in technology projects). Skills

Strong computer literacy and understanding of mobile/web/back-end systems. Proficiency with Jira, Smartsheet, Confluence, Google Drive, Microsoft Office. Knowledge of SDLC methodologies and Agile practices. Ability to document and interpret technical requirements. Strong project management, planning, and analytical thinking skills.Excellent written and verbal communication. Customer management and stakeholder engagement.
