We’re looking for a highly skilled
Digital Marketing Specialist
with
proven experience working with US-based companies , particularly in Local SEO, social media posting, client communication, and content optimization. This role requires someone proactive, analytical, and highly organized who can work directly with clients, manage deliverables, and execute digital strategies that drive measurable results.
You will be responsible for improving local search visibility, managing content calendars, optimizing website copy for SEO, running performance reports, and ensuring a smooth communication flow with US clients.
Compensation:
$2,000– $2,400/month
Location Requirement:
South Africa
Work Schedule:
US Central Time
Key Responsibilities
Implement local SEO tactics, including Google Business Profile updates, NAP optimization, and citation management.
Write and optimize website content, blogs, and landing pages following SEO best practices.
Conduct keyword research and apply on-page SEO improvements across client websites.
Run SEO audits and generate performance reports using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or similar.
Post engaging content across social media platforms and maintain a consistent brand voice.
Create and manage content schedules to ensure timely publishing.
Monitor social media and SEO performance metrics and suggest optimization strategies.
Attend client meetings, provide updates, and maintain professional, clear communication.
Understand client goals and translate them into actionable marketing strategies.
Present reports and recommend improvements based on data insights.
Requirements
Strong English proficiency (C1/C2)— written and spoken.
3–5 years of proven experience in digital marketing with a focus on Local SEO.
Demonstrated experience working directly with US clients or US-based companies (strict requirement).
Strong writing skills and ability to produce optimized website content.
Experience running SEO audits and preparing clear, actionable reports.
Knowledge of tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush/Moz/Ahrefs, and scheduling tools.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Excellent client communication and relationship-building skills.
