You’ll be responsible for supporting the group consolidation process and external reporting, ensuring compliance with IFRS, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. Duties:
Prepare and review group and segment consolidations
Analyse financial performance and provide meaningful commentary
Review business unit submissions and resolve reporting queries
Manage intercompany eliminations and consolidation adjustments
Ensure compliance with IFRS, Companies Act, and JSE requirements
Interpret and communicate complex accounting matters
Support implementation of new accounting standards
Partner with finance teams, auditors, and senior stakeholders
Provide insights on risks, trends, and financial performance
Support audit processes and external reporting deliverables
Drive enhancements in reporting processes and systems
Contribute to automation and efficiency initiatives
Support ongoing optimisation of consolidation tools (e.g. HFM)
Qualifications:
Matric (Grade 12)
BCom Accounting
BCom Honours / CTA
CA(SA)
Experience:
Completed SAICA Articles
2– 4 years post‑qualification experience
Experience in group reporting and/or consolidations within a listed or multinational environment
Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting
Skills&Competencies:
Strong analytical and technical accounting ability
Experience with HFM or similar consolidation systems (advantageous)
Ability to manage complexity and work under pressure
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
