FINANCIAL MANAGER, Soweto

Qualifications&Skills:

Com (Accounting) degree (essential)– Honours and completed articles (SAIPA or SAICA) preferred

Minimum five (5) years’ relevant experience in a similar role.

Extensive experience within a complex manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on job costing.

Advanced Excel Skills

Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Strong ERP system knowledge (Acumatica advantageous)

Good understanding of job costing and WIP management

Proficient in MS Office

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong presentation and stakeholder engagement skills

Adaptability and ability to manage change effectively

Proven leadership and team management capability

Position Overview:

Prepare and deliver accurate, timely financial reports, including clear interpretation and insights to support decision making

Ensure full compliance with all relevant regulatory and statutory requirements (including SARS, VAT, and Reserve Bank regulations)

Lead, mentor, and supervise finance staff while coordinating departmental activities

Monitor and interpret cash flows (including accounts payable and accounts receivable)

Collaborate with the Group Financial Director on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

Liaise with external auditors

Drive continuous improvement by implementing efficient financial processes, controls, and procedures
