This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact by supporting leadership with accurate financial oversight and insights across a diverse group of companies.The Role: Group Accounts and Finance Officer This is a hands-on role covering day-to-day bookkeeping as well as management accounting across several group entities. You will be responsible for ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting to support key decision-making. The position is ideal for a finance professional who can manage detailed accounts while also providing higher-level analysis to guide business growth.Key Responsibilities

Minimum of 3-5 years experience in bookkeeping and management accounting Manage bookkeeping across multiple entities, including purchase ledger, sales ledger, and reconciliations Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in line with accounting standards Handle payroll, invoicing, credit control, and expense managementProduce monthly management accounts and financial reports for leadership review Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting across the group Liaise with external accountants and auditors when required Provide financial insights to support decision-making and identify efficiency opportunities Ensure systems and processes are scalable to match business growthAbout You

3-5 years proven experience in both bookkeeping and management accounting Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting Proficiency with accounting software (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks or similar) Advanced Excel and strong financial analysis skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage multiple entities and deadlines simultaneously Proactive, organised, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment AAT, ACCA, CIMA qualification (or qualified by experience)
