FINANCE MANAGER, Soweto

Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Financial Leadership

Act as strategic finance partner to the MD

Support corporate strategy development and long-term growth planning

Provide executive-level financial insight for business decision-making

Present reforecast P&L to Local and Regional HQ management

Drive performance improvement and cost optimization initiatives

2. Financial Operations&Governance

Oversee full financial operations of the branch

Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting

Maintain compliance with IFRS, tax regulations and industry legislation

Ensure robust balance sheet integrity and variance analysis

Oversee closing process and reporting on SAP ERP

3. Treasury&Tax Compliance

Manage CIT, VAT201, EMP201, IRP6 and withholding tax submissions

Ensure timeous tax payments to SARS

Prepare provisional tax calculations and reforecast P&L

Maintain regulatory compliance and avoid penalties

4. AR / AP&Logistics Settlement Oversight

Approve revenue (AR) and logistics COGS (AP) transactions

Lead Account Settlement team performance

Drive billing KPI adherence and process improvement

Manage Logistics Settlement and accrual recognition

Review balance sheet open item lists and income statement variances

5. Reporting&Systems

Ensure accurate upload of revenue and cost data into SAP

Liaise with management on labour cost and expense planning

Review payroll journals and approvals

Deliver monthly, quarterly and annual reporting within strict deadlines

Minimum Requirements

Degree in Finance / Accounting or related field

Minimum 5 years in a managerial financial leadership role

Proven experience within a global organization structure

Experience reporting into MD and Regional / Head Office

Experience within 3PL / Logistics industry (highly advantageous)

Strong SAP ERP exposure

Advanced financial analysis and reporting capability
