RPO's client is actively seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join their team in Cape Town, Western Cape.

Market-related Responsibilities: Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and goals Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets Establish and improve financial system controls Monitor and manage financial accounting, reporting, and cash flow Maintain banking relationships and ensure operational fundingForecast costs, revenues, and manage contract/project financials Manage tax payments and ensure group-wide tax efficiency Analyze and report financial variances with cost-saving strategies Assist the MD with budgeting and financial decision-making Oversee capital budgeting and financial forecastingConduct internal audits and coordinate external audit processes Maintain accurate ledgers, accounts, and financial records Support the development, mentorship, and upskilling of the finance team Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures Requirements: Relevant Degree in Finance or AccountingMinimum 5 years' finance experience in the

construction industry Must reside in

Cape Town Proficient in

Buildsmart

and

MS Office Fluent in

English and Afrikaans
