Finance&Office Administrator / Bookkeeper - Maitland, Cape Town Salary R30,000
A well-established company is seeking an experienced Finance and Office Administrator/Bookkeeper to manage a wide range of accounting and administrative functions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Full-function bookkeeping support using Pastel Accounting and payroll systems
Manage supplier and customer accounts, including credit control and invoice processing
Oversee petty cash, VAT reports, fixed asset register, and depreciation/interest calculations
Provide administrative support to management, including meeting coordination, travel bookings, and staff record management
Process weekly wages, monthly payments, and employee leave
Maintain accurate physical and digital filing systems
Assist with stock control, logistics bookings, and vehicle maintenance records
Support internal and external audits with precise reporting and documentation
Systems Proficiency Required:
Pastel
Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Payroll and Time Log systems
Ideal Candidate:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a bookkeeping/admin role
Strong knowledge of accounting practices and reporting
Highly organized with the ability to multitask and maintain confidentiality
Confident in managing both financial and general administrative duties
