We are on the search for an experienced, highly driven individual– with experience in Mining and/or a Construction related field. This individual will take ownership of market share for Hilti for all activities in the assigned territory and further develop profitable sales. This role looks after our Platinum Mining client segment – Production or Processing. This is no ordinary sales job – if you are able to work in a fast‑paced, unique environment then we are looking for you. What You’ll Do You will be responsible for driving sales growth within an assigned territory by managing opportunities and meeting sales targets. The role involves working across diverse environments such as mining and construction sites, plants, offices, and warehouses. You will build strong relationships with partners, contractors, system integrators, and end users while growing key products and successfully introducing new ones. The position requires ensuring effective customer coverage to achieve profitable growth, actively demonstrating and supporting Hilti products, and maintaining a strong understanding of the market and competitors through ongoing research and monthly reporting.
What You’ll Bring
Completed Bachelor’s degree/Postgraduate qualification (Honors) – MBA is a plus.
Minimum 3–5 years working experience in a Mining/Construction related role (experience in the field of Mining is a plus).
A solid understanding of strategic sales and sales processes, with exposure to developing a fact base, customer data analysis, and pricing.
Successful experience working with large sales teams and proven leadership experience.
Evidence of networking across multidisciplinary teams, including relationship development at senior management level (Owner, GM, CEO, HODs).
Demonstrable experience in developing client‑focused, differentiated and achievable solutions.
Proficiency in English and Afrikaans (written and verbal).
Effective communication skills, including the ability to structure clear presentations and simplify a message.
