Role Overview To lead digital-first and through-the-line strategy across a portfolio of clients, while providing strategic oversight and direction to the social media team to ensure performance, consistency, and strategic quality.

Core Responsibilities

Provide Strategic leadership and oversight to the social media team, ensuring work aligns to broader brand and communication strategies.

Set the strategic direction for always-on social content, campaigns, and platform use.

Own and deliver monthly social media performance reports, translating data into insight, implications, and clear optimisation actions.

Review, guide, and elevate social content plans, calendars, and executional thinking.

Ensure social outputs are performance-informed, not trend-chasing.

Lead through-the-line strategic thinking across multiple clients, from brief to go-to-market.

Partner closely with creative, media, and digital teams to connect social performance with bigger campaign objectives.

Identify platform, content, and audience opportunities to drive growth and effectiveness.

Operate independently, managing priorities, timelines, and expectations without constant oversight.

Key Skills And Experience

Senior-level strategist experience in digital-first or integrated agency environments.

Proven experience working with and guiding social media teams.

Strong command of social platforms, KPIs, analytics tools, and reporting frameworks.

Ability to turn performance data into strategic direction for teams and clients.

Confident leadership and decision-making capability.

Strong client-facing presence and communication skills.

Organised, proactive, and comfortable operating at speed.

Strategic oversight of Social Media Team (content, community, and performance outputs)
