Role Description This is a contract role for a Dual-Line Insurance Sales Agent, located in Gauteng, South Africa. The role involves offering short-term and long-term insurance solutions, generating new business leads, and maintaining strong customer relationships. Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting with clients to assess their insurance needs, presenting tailored insurance policies and meeting sales targets. The agent will also collaborate with insurance providers to secure competitive coverage options and ensure clients receive exceptional service.

Required Skills&Qualifications

Experience:

Proven minimum of 1 year of successful sales experience in the insurance or financial services industry, ideally covering short-term and or long-term products or both.

Regulatory Qualifications (Specific to Jurisdiction):

Valid RE5 (Representative)

qualification is mandatory or working towards it.

FAIS/FSCA regulatory credits

for Short-Term

and or Long-Term .

NQF Level 4 or 5 qualification

in Insurance or a related field is highly advantageous.

Communication:

Exceptional verbal and written communication, presentation and active listening skills.

Sales Acumen:

Strong negotiation, persuasion and objection-handling abilities.

Technical:

Proficiency in using CRM software, MS Office and quoting/policy management systems.

Attributes:

Self-motivated, resilient, goal-oriented, ethical and professional with a high level of integrity.
