Passenger Vehicle Workshop Controller - Gauteng, Ekurhuleni, Soweto

Responsibilities

Plan, schedule, and control daily workshop operations and workflow

Allocate jobs to technicians based on skill level and workload

Monitor job progress and ensure timely completion of repairs and services

Manage and control job cards, labour allocation, and productivity

Ensure accurate job costing, invoicing, and warranty compliance

Liaise closely with service advisors, technicians, and parts department

Monitor workshop efficiency, productivity, and turnaround times

Maintain accurate administrative records and workshop documentation

Support the Service Manager with reporting and KPI tracking

Ensure compliance with OEM standards, dealership policies, and health&safety regulations

Requirements

Matric / Grade 12 (essential)

Relevant automotive or workshop management qualification (advantageous)

Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Workshop Controller in a passenger vehicle dealership

Strong understanding of workshop operations, servicing, and repair processes

Experience working with dealership management systems (DMS)

Valid driver’s licence
