Wigmore Trading is seeking an entrepreneurial and results-driven

Commission-Only Sales Associate

to represent the company in Ekurhuleni and the greater Gauteng region. The successful candidate will focus on business development, client acquisition, and sales growth in FMCG, industrial, and commodity sectors. This position is ideal for an independent, performance-oriented professional with strong communication skills, market understanding, and a passion for international trade.Key Responsibilities

Identify and engage new clients, distributors, and wholesalers in Ekurhuleni and surrounding areas. Promote Wigmore Trading’s portfolio of FMCG, industrial, and commodity products. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms in alignment with company objectives. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and business opportunities.Manage client communications and maintain strong, long-term relationships. Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to ensure smooth deliveries. Represent Wigmore Trading at trade events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities. Provide regular performance reports and market insights to management.Qualifications&Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or International Trade preferred. 3–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or trading. Proven background in FMCG, import/export, or B2B sales is advantageous. Existing business relationships in South Africa’s trade or retail sectors are a plus.Skills&Experience

Excellent negotiation, communication, and networking skills. Strong understanding of South Africa’s trade and logistics environment. Fluency in English; knowledge of Afrikaans or other local languages is beneficial. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools. Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.Detail-oriented and organized in managing multiple client relationships. Personal Attributes
