Role Overview An opportunity is available for a

Project-Based Accountant

to assist with clearing a backlog of outstanding Annual Financial Statements (AFS) across multiple entities.

This is a

hands-on, deadline-driven role

suited to candidates who can work independently and deliver under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and finalise outstanding AFS

Perform reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records

Collect and verify supporting documentation

Assist with audit-related requirements

Ensure compliance with accounting standards

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Accounting / Finance / Auditing / Commerce

Technical Skills

Strong understanding of accounting principles

Knowledge of financial statements and internal controls

Familiarity with audit processes

Strong reconciliation skills

Software

Advanced Microsoft Excel (essential)

Microsoft Word&Outlook

MDA (non-negotiable)

Experience

Experience within a finance department

Audit firm experience advantageous
