Branch Supervisor&Technical Specialist - Hose&Fittings Specialist (ZAMBIA)

Location: Kitwe Type: Permanent, Full Time Salary: R20k + Accommodation Duties&Responsibilities

Operational Requirements (Job Description): Report to the branch manager. Oversee that the sales area, offices, store facilities, kitchen, and ablutions are kept clean and attractive. Answer telephones and assist customers and suppliers during sales calls and purchases. Notify management of any equipment failure or maintenance issues.Order and maintain office supplies and sales catalogues. Maintain a file system for necessary documentation. Setup meeting agendas and take notes of discussions and resolutions. Manage petty cash and monitor cash income and expenses. Open the branch in the morning and lock up in the evening. Assist with stock taking when required.Maintain health and safety systems and ensure relevant training is conducted. Track employee attendance and clocking times. Assist with picking stock for sales and hose assemblies. Maintain warehouse procedures and ensure they are up to date. Measure hoses and hose assemblies according to job card requirements.Plan and keep records of monthly inventory and orders. Synchronize the Sage warehouse system with physical warehouse locations. Plan inventory purchasing and maintain adequate stock levels. Create job cards and bill of materials for production and quotations. Assist with sales by preparing quotations, invoices, and delivery notes.Ensure components are packed and ready for dispatch. Alert management about non-conformities affecting sales or deliveries. Support external sales personnel with customer inquiries. Contact sales representatives regarding specifications and pricing as needed. Train personnel and customers on the hydraulic hose and fitting range.Deliver parts and orders to customers when necessary. Monitor customer accounts on hold and inform management of affected orders.
