Kendrick Recruitment is currently hiring a highly capable and experienced Assistant General Manager for a luxury private island resort in Zanzibar. Higher Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management 3–4 years’ experience in a similar senior hospitality role Strong computer literacy Excellent verbal and written English communication skills Solid understanding of hotel operations and luxury guest service standards Strong leadership, mentoring, and team management abilitiesAbility to perform effectively under pressure within a fast‑paced environment Key Competencies
Strong analytical and problem‑solving ability Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High attention to detail and organisational ability Passion for guest delight and service excellence Positive, professional, and adaptable attitude Strong sense of urgency and operational awarenessEagerness to learn, develop, and inspire others Role Responsibilities
Support operational management, HR functions, strategic planning, guest experience, staff development, reporting, supplier coordination, project management, and overall resort efficiency. Contribute to conservation and community initiatives.
