Job Summary

Takealot Group, South Africa’s leading online Retail / Delivery organisation, is looking for a highly talented Merchandising Intern to join our team in Cape Town. The Internship Programme will be split between all businesses within the Group, namely: takealot.com, TFS and Mr D. Key Responsibilities

Assist in planning and executing merchandising strategies to maximize sales and profitability. Analyse sales data, market trends, and customer behavior to support product assortment and placement decisions. Support the development of promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives in collaboration with the marketing team.Prepare reports and presentations on product performance, sales trends, and merchandising effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and operations to implement merchandising plans. Support ad hoc projects and initiatives as required within the merchandising team.Required Skills and Attributes

Ability to write clearly and persuasively for diverse audiences. Confidently pitch ideas and present campaign results to stakeholders.
