Field Crew Members, Expert-Led Bush Regeneration Environmental Management Unit Brisbane QLD Conservation, Parks and Wildlife (Farming, Animals and Conservation) Casual/Vacation 32 to 38 per hour Environmental Management Unit (EMU), is a specialised ecological restoration company where quality and professional conduct come first. Unlike larger firms, our owners and management are active on-site, providing direct leadership to our crews. We are currently looking for motivated Field Crew Members—from entry-level regenerators to experienced senior operators—who take pride in their work and want to grow with a high-standard team. We work across beautiful sites in Brisbane, Logan, Scenic Rim, Lockyer Valley, Ipswich, and Redlands. What You’ll Do Working across diverse SEQ landscapes, your daily responsibilities will include: Ecological Restoration: Identification and control of invasive species using manual and chemical methods (ACDC). Revegetation: Planting, mulching, and slope stabilisation/erosion control (including Jute Matting). Equipment Mastery: Safe operation and daily maintenance of tools and machinery. Professional Reporting: Accurately completing Daily Record Sheets (DRS) The EMU Advantage Direct Mentorship: Learn from owners who are on the tools, not stuck in an office. What We’re Looking For Mandatory: Construction White Card and a current C-Class Driver’s Licence. The "EMU" Mindset: Reliable, professional, and ready to work in light rain or challenging terrain.
