Description
Key Responsibilities Technical Support&Helpdesk
Provide first- and second-line IT support across operational and administrative departments
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, printer, and email issues
Install and maintain desktops, laptops, barcode scanners, mobile devices, and peripherals
Assist users with Microsoft Office, Windows operating systems, and operational systems
Liaise with third-party service providers and manage support tickets
Network&Systems Administration
Maintain LAN, wireless networks, and internet connectivity
Install and crimp network cabling (RJ45, shielded RJ45, keystones, etc.)
Support systems development where programming and operational knowledge are required
Infrastructure&Operational Support
Perform routine maintenance and system updates
Support printers, biometric systems, CCTV, VoIP, and access control systems
Monitor system performance and identify recurring technical issues
Assist with IT asset management and procurement
Supervise and monitor IT personnel where required
Security&Compliance
Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures
Assist with data security and confidentiality measures
Identify and report risks or system vulnerabilities
Support business continuity and disaster recovery processes
Minimum Requirements
National Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Minimum 5 to 8 years’ experience in IT support or IT administration
Strong MS SQL Server skills including query writing and database maintenance
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Experience supporting Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 environments
Knowledge of networking, routers, switches, and wireless systems
Valid driver’s licence
Advantageous Skills&Experience
Programming knowledge in VBA, C#, ASP.NET, Python, or similar
CompTIA A+ and/or Network+ certifications
Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, warehouse, production, or abattoir environments
Exposure to cybersecurity principles and remote support tools
Knowledge of CCTV, VoIP, biometric systems, and access control systems
Strong accounting or actuarial background
