The sales representative is expected to build strong customer relationships, identify new market opportunities and stay updated on product and industry trends. The purpose is to drive sales by promoting, selling and demo’s to and supporting customers to achieve monthly and annual targets, as well as market share growth of the branch.Key Responsibilities
Sales&Business Development:
Identify, approach and frequently visit existing and potential customers. Comparte different equipment models based on efficiency and long‑term cost saving.
Sales Target&Performance Analysis:
Achieve monthly and quarterly targets in order to increase market share. Provide accurate forecasting in accordance with market segments trends and target market share.
Customer Relationship Management:
Provide after‑sales support and follow‑ups to ensure customer satisfaction.
Product Knowledge&Technical expertise:
Stay updated on the latest agricultural equipment usage, features and benefits.
Sales Admin, System and reporting:
Prepare quotations and proposals using SAP, Sales App and Microsoft Office programs.
Experience Required
3-5 years proven experience in sales, business development or account management, preferably in Agriculture Equipment Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets Proven Agricultural&Technical knowledge; understanding of machinery and implements (machinery minimum requirement) Experience working with tractors, combines or related machinery will be advantageous Experience in building and maintaining relationships with farmers Sales or Technical Customer Support Experience Working on SAP and/or other similar systemExperience on a Customer Relations program At least 2 years working with Equipment financing deals Preferred Qualifications
Matric / Grade 12 (With minimum required experience) Sales or Marketing Diploma or Degree Customer Relationship Management Sales Management Qualification What We Offer
