Senior Account Manager R60 000 to R70 000, CTC, Port Elizabeth

Job Responsibilities

Manage a team of 8 to 12 accountants and bookkeepers providing external services to several clients with various businesses. Oversee outsourced back-office services for groups of companies. Monitor and support the team as the Senior Account Manager. Coordinate with the head office and clients, including:

Troubleshooting processing issues Providing systems support and recommendations for improvements Training the team according to head office requirements Recruiting team members Managing team performance and KPAs Ensuring data is processed correctly according to strict requirements

Provide accounting support and management of the team for the following services:

Monthly bookkeeping review and support Review and correct monthly management accounts Manage accounting controls and systems Perform journal adjustments Reconcile accounts and inter-group loan accounts Provide customer support Prepare monthly working papers Prepare annual financial statementsReview cash flows and budgets Provide commentary on financial statements and management accounts Review controls and procedures Support accounting IT systems Prepare management accounts

General Administration:

Respond to internal and external queries Manage timesheets Oversee management of team members (bookkeepers) Prepare reports

Desired Experience&Qualifications

B.Com Degree 5+ years’ experience in accounting/bookkeeping/managing a finance team Proficient in the following programs:

Xero or Sage or Other Excel (intermediate to advanced) Outlook

Package&Remuneration

Must be present at the office CTC R60,000 to R70,000 per month
