Job Description

We are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to join our clients' agricultural operation in Coega, Port Elizabeth. This role is ideal for a strong team leader who can oversee daily production activities, ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards, and support a well-organized, efficient production environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving team performance, maintaining operational excellence, and supporting continuous skills development within the workforce.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate daily production operations within assigned plant sections
  
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and production quality standards
  
• Execute production planning in line with operational requirements
  
• Supervise and manage production staff, including shift planning and staffing levels
  
• Maintain discipline and support sound labour relations practice
  
• Monitor and enforce housekeeping and sanitation standards across production lines
  
• Facilitate on-the-job training and upskilling of production staff
  
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Quality, Maintenance, Logistics) to ensure seamless production flow
  

Requirements

Requirements
· Grade 12 · A relevant tertiary qualification (advantageous) · Minimum of 3 years’ supervisory experience in the food, citrus, dairy, or packhouse industry · Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) · Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport · Willingness to work shifts and extended hours as required · Residing in or near the Port Elizabeth / Uitenhage area
