Warehouse Controller, Port Elizabeth

Job Overview To ensure the accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, maintaining stock integrity and compliance with company procedures. Responsible for verifying loads, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring that all warehouse movements are properly documented and executed.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise loading and offloading of trucks, ensuring correct stock, quantities, and weights.

Conduct checks and balances to verify accuracy of shipments against documentation.

Identify and report discrepancies, damages, or shortages promptly.

Maintain warehouse records and ensure dispatch/receiving documentation is completed.

Monitor warehouse processes to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.

Support smooth coordination between warehouse staff.

Minimum Requirements

Matric with relevant warehouse/logistics experience (qualification in Supply Chain/Logistics advantageous).

At least 10 years’ experience in warehouse operations, with reputable references.

Previous experience in managing a small team will be advantageous.

Competencies

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in stock handling.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure.

Sound computer literacy, with intermediate Excel skills.

Excellent organizational and planning abilities.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills for team coordination.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
