Our client in the FMCG sector is looking for a Maintenance Mechanical Supervisor to join their team based in Port Elizabeth. Duties&Responsibilities

Experience and Qualifications:

Grade 12 Diesel Mechanic Trade Test Certificate 3 - 5 years’ experience working as an artisan. Valid Driver’s Licence Own transport Knowledge of mechanical maintenance and related universal best practices. Knowledge of legislative and industry protocols and regulations that apply in maintenance.Duties:

Regular inspections on equipment to identify hazards, defects or need for repair. Complete equipment checks sheets as per manufacturers requirements. Capacity to take initiative on all projects. Complete projects in the expected time frame. Making schedules, assigning work and training employees.Motivate employees to increase their productivity and meet work goals. To ensure the proper maintenance of equipment, compliance with mechanical codes and adherence to safety regulations. Supervise junior team members. Responsible for mechanical systems installation, troubleshooting, repairs, and services as required.Designing mechanical systems and equipment, as well as contributing to improved designs and manufacturing processes. Report to maintenance manager any incidents. Ensure good housekeeping. Attend to breakdowns. Ensure adequate inventory, prioritize purchases, prepare cost estimates, and document their purchases.Doing standby duties. Mechanical knowledge of machines, tools in factory environment. Understanding of the OSH Act. Package&Remuneration
