Quality Lab Inspector

Required for a reputable automotive manufacturing company based in

Gqeberha, Eastern Cape . Requirements: Minimum 3 years experience in Machine Shop; 2 years work experience in a Wheel manufacturing plant would be advantageous. Thorough knowledge of the Machine Shop and IATF processes. Minimum essential tertiary qualification: N6 in Quality or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.Quality specific training in Core Tools (e.g., SPC) and CSR’s would be advantageous. Thorough knowledge of Quality standards. Knowledge of Problem Solving Methodologies. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and customer specifications. Responsibilities: Using the CMM to measure and conduct visual inspection for issuing of first-offs, SPCtracking, and Capability studies.Analyse the CMM results, inform relevant personnel on any discrepancies, raise and follow up on containments (non-conformities), when required. Using measuring instruments (verniers, micrometers, etc.) to conduct manual measuring of significant characteristics.
