Internal advert: Maintenance Stores Controller, Port Elizabeth

Maintenance Stores Controller (Grade 9) Procurement To manage the day‑to‑day operations and staff of the Maintenance Stores and provide maintenance supplies to Facilities and Infrastructure, specifically the Electrical, Mechanical, Engineering and Building Maintenance sections. Responsible for issuing and taking orders for required stock items from various departments and for issuing and safekeeping of large equipment and machinery.

The Requirements

Grade 12 or equivalent plus approximately 4 years of relevant experience, which must include:

Previous experience working in a computerized stock control system.

Previous experience in stock administration and stock audits.

At least 2 years of staff supervision experience.

Experience implementing stock control systems (preferred).

Remuneration per annum (Grade 09) Basic Pensionable Salary per annum: R324 203

Cost to Company per annum (approximately): R445 208
