General Assistant: Catering, Gqeberha

CORE PURPOSE OF JOB

Food service assistance and customer service. Knowledge of food preparation, Food hygiene and health & safety requirements

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Assist with preparation of food and beverage items.
• Maintain quality standards in food preparation and presentation and in accordance with food, health and safety requirements.
• Work with Chef and/or cook in meeting food preparation requirements based on recipe and menu.
• Provide support on quality food preparation and output relevant to catering events.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 08. 0-12 months relevant experience in a catering and hospitality environment.
• Knowledge of food preparation, Hygiene, knowledge of health and safety requirements. Great customer service.
