Our client in the Marine / Industrial sector is looking for an experienced and dynamic Sales Executive to join their growing team based in Port Elizabeth. Grade 12 (Matric) Tertiary qualification in Sales, Business, Marketing, or related field advantageous Proven sales track record, within the marine, boating, engineering, or manufacturing industries - non -negotiable Strong prospecting, networking, and account management abilities Experience with proposal writing, quotations, presentations, and CRM systemsValid driver’s license Willingness to travel when required Strong commercial, sales, and financial acumen Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development
Secure new business and grow existing customer accounts through relationship-driven sales strategies Expand the company’s footprint across Africa by developing and strengthening representative networks Identify, research, and develop new prospective customers within the assigned territory Present and demonstrate products/services while advising customers on optimal solutionsPrepare professional quotations, proposals, and presentations Develop and execute strategic sales plans to maximize market growth and profitability Collaborate with internal departments including Marketing, Logistics, Technical Services, and Finance Monitor competitor activities, industry trends, and market opportunitiesCustomer Relationship Management
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships Resolve customer queries, complaints, and after-sales matters efficiently Provide regular market and customer feedback to management Represent the company at trade shows, conventions, and industry events Reporting and Compliance
Ensure compliance with company sales policies and ethical standards Submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence to the Commercial Manager Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve sales processes and customer engagement Recommend product and service enhancements based on customer and market feedback Why Apply?
