Job Purpose

Progressive pharmaceutical company seeks experienced sales reps with strong experience selling to pharmacies (Retail) you will be required to:

• To manage the territory by planning, organizing, and targeting, retail pharmacy clients
• To effectively promote and sell the designated products to customers by utilizing selling skills, ophthalmic/ Eye care product knowledge and implementing sales and marketing strategies.
• To grow the business in your area as measured by increased sales against set targets.

Job Requirements:

• Achieve and exceed set sales targets.
• Effectively manage the territory by means of planning, territory analysis, and targeting and call coverage of customers
• Client Presentations
• Ensure monthly targets are achieved
• Effective implementation of set sales and marketing strategies
• To achieve the set standard of knowledge regarding the territory, customer, promoted product and competitor products.
• Ensure that the activities always comply with relevant legislation, ethical standards, and company policies.
• To report timeously all operational field issues
• To manage expenses effectively to ensure growth in region.
• To report on market and competitor activity in region

Experience and Qualification:

• Grade 12
• Proven stable track record as a pharmaceutical sales representative
• ophthalmic/ Eye care product knowledge advantage
• Retail/Pharmacy sales ess
• Knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics
• Ability to plan and work independently.
• Attention to details, selling skills and strong negotiations skills.
• Computer literacy (MS Office)
• Valid driver's licence
• Clear criminal record
