Production Manager, Villiersdorp

Our International client with two farms in the Western Cape is looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working Production Manager for their 100 hectare deciduous Fruit Farm in the VILLIERSDORP / GREYTON area of the Western Cape managing 40 permanent and up to 130 temporary employees.

The position will report to the Senior Production Manager of the Farm.

Requirements:

• Post Matric qualification be it a degree or diploma in Agriculture
• 3-5 years' experience in deciduous fruit production
• Strong managerial and leadership abilities
• Outstanding communication skills
• Good organizational skills and the ability to operate mostly independently.
• Knowledge of SIZA, Global Gap and MB 4000 will be an advantage
• General mechanical knowledge

The successful candidate will receive an above average remuneration package that includes housing, electricity, water and a thirteenth cheque.

Starting date: 1 September 2023.
