Job Responsibilities
Positioning solutions offering based on performance and sustainability
Secure inclusion of solutions as part of client corporate national specification guidelines
Build a pipeline of early engagement large projects in the CRM system
Ensure regular stakeholder presentations and CPDs on SG solutions and product offerings
Develop an in-depth understanding of competitor strengths and weaknesses and their marketplace activities
Maximise commercial key account performance for SG SSA Solutions by driving the SG solution proposition to developers, professionals, specifiers and main contractors
Facilitate SG solutions specification as part of national specifications in South Africa and African countries
Candidate Profile
National Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction/Building disciplines or relevant technical construction expertise
Minimum of 8 years overall experience in technical construction products, with at least 3 years in sales
Strong knowledge of construction process stages and ability to identify opportunities to improve efficiency within a customer’s construction programme
Proficiency in interpreting BOQs and identifying SG solutions to meet requirements
High level of understanding of current market legislation (e.g. EN, SANS XA) and practical implications for solutions business
Proficiency in Microsoft Office for reporting and presentations
Industry Focus Non‑residential sectors – National Corporate Clients developing commercial projects in Retail, Distribution Centers, Offices, Data Centers&Healthcare.
