Product Manager, Midrand

Product Manager – UPS / Generators / Cooling / Batteries A leading power solutions company is seeking a technically strong and commercially driven Product Manager to manage and grow its backup power product portfolio, including UPS systems, generators, batteries, cooling systems, and related electrical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage product portfolio, stock planning, and market strategy
• Support sales teams with technical guidance, quotations, sizing, and tenders
• Conduct product training, presentations, and customer demonstrations
• Maintain supplier relationships and manage warranties/product issues
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements
• Drive product growth and support business development initiatives

Requirements

• B-Tech / National Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Experience in backup power, UPS, generators, batteries, or related industries
• Strong technical, communication, and presentation skills
• Good understanding of IEC standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Valid driver’s license, own transport, and willingness to travel
