This role leverages the current Operating Model to achieve efficiencies, with a focus on people, processes and business management. As the Finance Manager you would be required to present complex data in a way that others can understand, take responsibility for a range of accounting duties while maintaining high-quality accountancy practices and working procedures, coupled with financial stability and helping to drive the company forward.Manage internal financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems Manage budgets and prepare forecasting reports Analyse financial reports and present findings to the exco team and board Review company financial reports and seek ways to reduce costs Analyse market trends to maximize profits and find expansion opportunitiesIdentify risks, propose solutions and manage stakeholder expectations Research and report on business performance influences Prepare and present statutory accounts– Including monthly, half year and year close Management and submissions of all taxes, VAT and HMRC across South Africa and United KingdomManage the purchase and sales ledger Preparation of asset lists and management of such Responsibility for accounts receivable and payable ledgers Prepare monthly accruals, prepayments and accounting entries Preparation and delivery of management accounts and solvency Maintaining and supervising the human resource processes such as Payroll, Payment releases, employment PAYEWork closely with Operations Director to strategically manage financial KPI’s and targets Client debtors and creditors: Management of Age Analysis with Operations Skills and Qualifications
Bcom Accounting degree 5 Years experience in a management level Numeracy and technical skills Proficient I.T. skills Package&Remuneration
