Duties: Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets (Revenue and Expenses) Providing inputs to the weekly cash-flow forecastAssist in month end reporting process Marketing requisition tracker approvals Rebates verification and sign off Distribution fee verification and sign off Daily integrity checks on the accounting system Daily bank recon reviews Assisting with implementation, maintenance and improvement of financial controls, policies and procedures and systems where necessary and assisting with documenting processesJob Experience&Skills Required: Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) BCom Accounting BCom Honours Studying toward CIMA is advantageous Experience: 3-5 Years’ experience in a financial accountant role Skills&Competencies: Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Advanced Excel Good knowledge of Pastel / similar accounting systems Attention to detail Deadline driven Time Management skills Good interpersonal skills Good communication skills Assertive when required If you have not had any response in two weeks, please consider the vacancy application unsuccessful.
