based in Riversands (Gauteng). As the Proposals Engineer, you will be responsible for executing sales and process engineering services as required by our client's projects within agreed constraints of time, cost, and quality. National and international travel will be required for this position. This will be a permanent opportunity with a three-month probation period.

Prior working experience in Sales and water treatment will be required. Requirements: Graduate BEng or BSC or BTech ( Mechanical Engineer ) Sales Experience will be beneficial. Process Engineering working experience will be beneficial. Tender submission experience and dealing with quotes will be beneficial.Valid Driver’s License and own vehicle Valid Passport Willing to travel Nationally and Internationally. Duties: Schedule and prepare for Go/No Go meetings. Execute process engineering and design for the tendering of projects. Interpretation and implementation of Client’s requirements and specifications.Propose original and cost-effective alternative solutions. Preparation of Block Flow Diagrams (BFDs) and Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs). Preparation of Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) with the assistance of the drawing office. Preparation of General Arrangement Drawings (GAs) with the assistance of the drawing office. Preparation of design calculations and mass balances. Compilation of equipment schedules. Prepare Request for Quotations. Setting up of Supplier Quotation Evaluation criteria and completing the evaluations.Communicating with suppliers regarding technical requirements for tenders. Compilation of internal cost sheets. Preparation of technical and commercial documentation for tenders. Update of Pipedrive on a regular basis. Assisting with NEWGen related tasks and costing. Compilation of Operation and Maintenance (O&M) proposals. Addressing technical and commercial clarifications during bid evaluation and contract negotiations. Arranging Project Kick-off meetings including complete handover of a tender to the dedicated Project. When required, represent the company during site visits and meetings with potential clients.Assisting with marketing related tasks including attending exhibitions. Any other work-related tasks assigned by the direct line manager or nominated representative.
