Description
Responsible for managing the commercial side of our RedHat product business. Working with vendors, partners, and internal teams to drive sales, set pricing strategies, and make sure we meet our financial goals. Your focus will be RedHat products.
Key Responsibilities
Drive sales performance for RedHat products by supporting partners and creating commercial opportunities.
Set pricing, build quotes, and support accurate billing in line with Product programs and rules.
Work closely with our resellers and partners to help them understand product offers, licensing models, and how to grow their business.
Act as the link between our company and RedHat vendors– stay up to date on promotions, funding programs (like rebates and incentives), and changes in RedHat product offerings
Monitor sales numbers, pipeline progress, and forecast future business.
Report on performance and suggest improvements.
Assist with contracts, renewals, and special deals, ensuring they are commercially sound and profitable.
Work closely with finance, operations, and technical teams to ensure smooth delivery of services and correct customer billing.
Education and Experience
Grade 12 (Matric)
IT Qualification or Related
RedHat Certificates advantageous
Experience in a commercial, sales, or business management role– ideally in technology distribution or RedHat software.
Understanding of RedHat products and licensing models is highly preferred.
Technical Competencies
Good with numbers– comfortable with pricing, margins, quoting, and profitability.
Strong communication skills– able to explain commercial info to both technical and non-technical people.
Organized and detail-oriented– able to manage multiple deals and deadlines.
Comfortable using Excel, CRM tools, and quoting platforms
Behavioral Requirements
Partner service and customer satisfaction– able to work under pressure
Good presentation and communication ability– excellent planning | organizational skills
Has networking, relationship-building and social skills
