About the Role Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full stack Developer to join their team on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-impact projects within the telecommunications sector, contributing to the development and deployment of scalable, cloud-native solutions.

You’ll be part of a collaborative team working in a hybrid model, with a strong focus on backend and cloud infrastructure, while also contributing to frontend development where needed.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using modern frameworks and cloud technologies.

Build and deploy scalable services using Node.js, Spring Boot, and Azure Functions.

Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform on Azure.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and Product Owners.

Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and agile ceremonies.

Ensure high performance, security, and scalability of applications.

Core Tech Stack

Backend: Node.js, Spring Boot

Cloud: Microsoft Azure (including Azure Functions)

Infrastructure as Code: Terraform

Frontend: (Not specified, but fullstack experience is expected)

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Fullstack Developer.

Strong proficiency in Node.js and Spring Boot.

Hands‑on experience with Azure Functions and Terraform.

Solid understanding of cloud-native application development and deployment.

Experience working in agile environments.

Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have

Experience in the Telco industry.

Familiarity with MTN systems or similar enterprise environments.

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Work Model

Hybrid: 3 days onsite (Roodepoort or Midrand), 2 days remote.
