Your date of first appointment (DOFA) as a financial planner/advisor Qualifications

Passed or currently studying for your RE5 Tertiary qualification such as a B.Comm is highly advantageous. Advanced Financial Planning qualifications (eg: CFP) are highly advantageous. Behavioural Competencies

Strong work ethic Excellent verbal and written communication skills Articulate with confident presentation skills Excellent and proven selling ability Strong client service orientation Attentive to detail and accurate Organised with effective time management skills Proactive– use initiativeAbility to work independently and/ or under pressure Empathetic towards clients with sound listening skills Technical knowledge

Good understanding of the Financial Services industry Ability to provide Estate Planning advice and prepare standard Wills Good understanding of legislation governing investment markets (local and offshore), investment vehicles and retirement funds Good understanding of the tax implications of the various investment options availableTechnology

Computer literate Experience using CRM systems is highly advantageous Working Experience

Minimum one year\'s’ financial planning experience Proven sales track record Other Requirements:
