Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Accounts & New Business Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, growing market share, maintaining strong client relationships, and promoting a range of technology and business solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
This role combines office-based work with regular client-facing responsibilities. Remote accessibility and collaboration through relevant technologies are supported. The position requires a customer-focused approach, providing support to both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and qualify new business sales leads.
- Build, establish, and maintain sustainable customer relationships to drive business growth.
- Consistently meet and exceed monthly sales targets in line with annual objectives and commission structures.
- Promote and create awareness of new products and services, including, Connectivity Solutions, Cloud Communications, Cloud Services and Security Solutions.
- Develop strong business relationships with customers to ensure long-term loyalty and service excellence.
- Effectively manage daily and weekly sales activities and priorities.
- Resolve customer queries efficiently and professionally.
- Process customer agreements and new order documentation accurately.
- Prepare and submit new business service orders.
- Maintain and grow the existing customer base while ensuring contract retention.
- Compile and submit relevant sales, customer, and internal reports.
- Stay informed of industry trends, market developments, and emerging technologies.
- Achieve sales targets in accordance with the company's performance and commission structure.
- Grade 12 / Matric (essential)
- Relevant tertiary qualification (advantageous)
- Valid driver's licence
- Own reliable vehicle
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong business presentation skills
- Proven sales track record in both new business development and account management.
- Excellent command of the English language.
- Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
- Ability to work successfully in a target-driven environment.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Strong time management and organisational abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Professional, customer-focused, and solutions-oriented approach.
