A top tear, open cast Mining Company, based in the KwaZulu Natal Province, has a great opportunity for a Mine Planner. The Ideal candidate will specialise in mine and backfill planning/scheduling in an open pit environment. They will also have experience within the Mineral Sands Industry. The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

•BSc Engineering / B Tech Degree in Mine Engineering

•Open cast experience

•Sound working knowledge of SurPac/MineSched/TalPac/Model Maker

•8-10 years Mining experience/Mine Planning exposure/Project Management/Operating within a Heavy Industry environment.

•Project Management Qualification

•MDP – Management Development Program

•Mineral Sands Industry experience highly advantageous
